I would like high school teachers to chime in on matters of public policy. If you are a teacher, please mention in your posts which grade you teach and which subject. I am particularly interested in civics and history teachers.
As a teacher, do you ever wish you could drag a certain politician (or appointed government official) back into class, sit him down and give him some remedial lessons in civics or history?
In "Decider" Bush's case, English teachers might wish to chime in as well.
I want you to run with that idea. Pretend that politician is in your class right now. You know your subject. You know what he (or she) has been up to, where the right thing was done, and where the wrong thing was done.
Teach the lesson. Give us at least one good paragraph where you talk to him frankly. Pull no punches. Say what you THINK. This section of the Forum is yours. Let it rip. |
